Lay Speaker Workshops

Please check back for notification of  Fall Advanced LSM Classes

The General Conference now requires that all Local Lay Speakers take a REFRESHER COURSE at least once every 3 years ... or ... a full credit of NYAC approved advanced Lay Speaker Workshop(s).

The Following Workshops Qualify for Advance Credit:

IMPORTANT:
Note that since ten hours of class room time (excludes breaks and meal times) are required as minimum performance every three years, some classes will only provide partial credit for less than ten hours.
That means that a two-and-one-half hours would have a credit value of .25; or five hours has a credit value of .50.
Full credit requires a total of at least 1.0 from any combination of partial credit over the period of three consecutive years..

Lay Speakers are encouraged to seek additional training and education to be as effective as possible.

Is there a topic that you would like to see as a Lay Speaker Workshop to support your ministry, mission, or leadership?
